Michelle L. Chace, MSSM, is the author of Foundations of Security Management: Core Concepts and Best Practices (2026), a comprehensive resource examining the principles, practices, and emerging challenges of modern security management. She is also the co-author of The Fundamentals of Security Management: A Common Sense Approach (2007), a foundational textbook widely used in academic and professional security training programs.
As part of her undergraduate Senior Capstone Project, Chace authored Nebraska Legislative Bill 116, testified before the Nebraska Judiciary Committee, and successfully advocated for its enactment into law as Neb. Rev. Stat. § 43-1725 in 2005. This achievement reflects her longstanding commitment to public safety, policy development, and evidence-based problem solving.
